Project Overview
In collaboration with Drivhuset Skaraborg, my team and I were commissioned to design a new website concept aimed at enhancing user experience while delivering a playful, “wow-inducing” first impression. The project provided hands-on experience in both UX design and stakeholder communication, with a focus on aligning business goals with user needs.
Problem
Drivhuset wanted their website to feel energetic and inspiring, but the existing structure lacked engagement and visual impact. We started by identifying the target audience and defining usability goals. Through interviews with real users, we gained valuable insights which we translated into personas and user scenarios. Our evaluations revealed areas where both design and functionality could be improved to better support the brand’s values of creativity, support, and innovation.
Results
We developed a concept grounded in user research, guided by a conceptual model to ensure clarity and coherence. Through sketches, scenarios, and mockups, we explored multiple creative directions before presenting a high-fidelity prototype that fulfilled both the business objectives and user expectations. The final design captured the playfulness and energy Drivhuset envisioned, while offering improved usability and clearer user flows.
