Didriksons
In this project, we focused on the details rather than the entirety of a website, immersing ourselves in the user’s perspective through a cognitive walkthrough. My ability to identify usability issues was put to the test, resulting in clearer and more comprehensible visual scales.
Project Overview & Goal
Didriksson is a specialized provider of functional clothing, primarily targeting women and men aged 25-44 as their main demographic. My coursemates and I were tasked with evaluating the visual scales displayed on Didriksson’s website. The evaluation aimed to identify potential areas for improvement in the functionality and design of these scales, with the overarching goal of enabling users to locate and understand them more effectively.

Results
My group and I were commissioned by Didriksons to review the visual scales on their website. They had noticed that not all customers understood the scales, or at least there were issues that needed to be investigated. We began by defining the target audiences and conducting cognitive walkthroughs of the website. Following this, we developed scenarios that test participants went through while we observed, and then answered interview questions afterwards. We noted issues regarding hidden information as well as the placement of the scales, and subsequently developed improvement suggestions.
